Coach Lauren

Lauren built her career on sets that demanded precision, speed and the ability to laugh when things go awry; skills that turned out to be perfect for coaching. A Baltimore-bred actor and producer, Lauren has worked across NBC, Netflix, FOX, HBO, TBS, BET, Lifetime, two seasons on Amazon, and four seasons of the improv series Little Bits, sharing the screen with names like Amy Poehler, Sam Rockwell, Diane Lane, and Adam Scott. A voting member of the Television Academy and a former Primetime Emmy contender, she’s seen the business from many different angles.

But if you ask Lauren what she’s most excited about, she’ll tell you she got an Emmy this year! …a rescued terrier mix, if you’re curious. Lauren rescues, fosters and advocates for animals in need, and she brings that same warmth into coaching: no pressure to have it all figured out.

Lauren believes the actors who go the distance are the ones who stay curious, stay kind to themselves and don’t take anything too seriously. She’s the coach for you if you want someone who’ll laugh with you about the “Barista #3” auditions that are due in 12 hours, reframe the dry spells, and help you build a career that feels fulfilling.
