AI is Inevitable

A TV Exec’s Take on the Future of AI for Actors


Are you worried that AI will take away industry jobs?
 

TV Executive Producer Aaron Rahsaan Thomas recently joined us for our Mastermind Weekend to speak about starting and maintaining industry relationships and protecting your voice in the industry.

During the Q&A, Aaron answered a question about AI with a refreshingly optimistic perspective about its impact on actors.

He sees AI as a creative tool – 
not a replacement for human talent.


Aaron thinks of it like past tech shifts: radio to TV, or the rise of streaming platforms, which both shook things up, but they’re all part of evolution.

Despite the rise of AI, he believes audiences will continue to seek out genuine human experiences on screen:

“I haven’t seen yet a generation that prefers to watch artificial faces.”
